Two pieces of note on the filibuster compromise...

The Arizona Republic published an editorial aimed at the GOP and its base which is drooling to skewer the maverick senator.

Second, columnist Thomas Sowell deviated wrote an op-ed for the WashTimes that, among other things, concludes that Sen. McCain is nothing more than a sellout.

Note: a simple Google search for "mccain 2008" generates 346,000 hits (at 6:24 p.m. on May 31, 2005). That is up...uh...significantly from December 21, 2004.
