Priorities

Apparently, our campaign to "free" the world from oppression only applies to certain types of oppression. Oppression that involves hunger, starvation, and/or famine does not qualify as a priority.

I wonder why we cannot afford to honor our promises of aid...

Debt?

Tax cuts?

War?

HO HO HO....Let's see. George Bush has reduced Pell grants for low-income college students, cut food aid for global charities, and virtually halted the presidential pardon process.

This is called "compassionate conservatism." Merry Christmas.
